For bun:

All purpose flour – 2 & 1/2 cups

Milk – ½ cup

Dry yeast – 1 tablespoon

Sugar – 2 tablespoons

Beaten egg – 1

Egg white – ½ cup

Salt – to taste

Warm water – 2 tablespoons

White sesame seeds – 1 tablespoon

Vegetable oil – for cooking

For chicken stuffing:

Chicken shredded – 1 & ½ cup

Ginger-garlic paste – 1teaspoon

Chopped onions – 2

Red chili powder – 1teaspoon

Coriander powder – 1teaspoon

Garam masala – ½ teaspoon

Chat masala – ½ teaspoon

Powdered Cumin seeds – 1 teaspoon

Finely chopped Green Chilies – 4

Salt – to taste

Stuffed Chicken Buns


  1. Mix the yeast in warm water in a bowl and add the flour and ½ tablespoon sugar in it and keep it for 10 minutes.
  2. Boil the milk in a bowl and add salt, sugar and 1 teaspoon oil and mix well.
  3. Mix the flour, dissolved yeast and beaten egg slowly and knead a smooth dough. Keep it aside for 2 hours.
  4. Now take a frying pan and add 2 tablespoons of oil. When the oil becomes hot, fry the onion.
  5. Add ginger-garlic paste, red chili, coriander and cumin seed powder and also the Garam masala and chat masala.
  6. Add the chicken and cook till it is done.
  7. Now, divide the dough into small portions and flatten them.
  8. Add the chicken stuffing and make a ball.
  9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  10. Preheat the oven at 200 degree C and bake the buns for 15 minutes.
  11. When the buns will start browning, grease them with egg white.
  12. Take them out when they are done.
