Strawberries – 1 quart (cleaned & sliced)
Almonds – ¼ cup (slivered)
Fresh Spinach (minced, hulled and sliced) – 10 ounces
Sesame seeds – 2 tbsp
Poppy seeds – 1 tbsp
Minced onion – 1 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce – ¼ tsp
White sugar – ½ cup
Olive oil – ½ cup
White vinegar – ¼ cup
Paprika – ¼ tsp
- Add together sugar, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, olive oil, paprika, sauce and onion in a bowl and mix well. Keep this mixture closed and chill for an hour.
- In a big bowl, add almonds, spinach and strawberries and mix slightly.
- Now add the dressing to the salad and toss well to let it coat on the spinach and strawberries evenly.
Now keep it in fridge for about 10 minutes to 15 minutes until the serving time.
